Every year, thousands of animals in Poland are abandoned. Not only dogs and cats are waiting for the loving home, but also fluffy cuties such as rabbits. These animals are close to my heart because at my veterinary work I also focus on their treatment. Rabbit Help Association (SPK) is a group of enthusiasts who rescue abandoned bunnies, take care of them, organize their veterinary care and temporary homes and look for new, loving homes. I decided to create a Bunny Project in tribute to their work and in the hope that your attention will turn to those wonderful little ones who are looking for a new home. Last year, together with Vetnolimits, we organized the first veterinary conference in the world entirely devoted to rabbit medicine. This year I would like to focus on the charges of the association and emphasize that rabbits have their feelings, characters, habits and dream of a loving human. Animals are not a thing, unfortunately, they often become an unwanted gift and are abandoned by bored and impatient caregivers.
You can donate for the Rabbit Aid Association here. Even small sum matters. Thank you!
I chose exceptional artists for the project, including a fantastic photographer, Radek Świątkowski, who is the author of the photographs as well as Polish designers. In the world of social media full of unrealistic standards of insta beauties, cooperation with luxury brands, as well as focusing on what’s superficial, I wanted to show you a different side of the fashion industry. For a noble purpose and among people who are not indifferent to the fate of animals. Don’t shop, adopt!
